Japan Open : Chong Wei vs Chen Long in final

TOKYO: Datuk Lee Chong Wei earned a place in the Japan Open when he beat two-time champion Peter Gade of Denmark 21-13, 21-16.

However, Lee's anticipated clash with Lin Dan will not materialise. World champion Lin Dan conceded a walk-over in his match with teammate Chen Long in the other semi-final due to an injured foot.
