The Employees Provident Fund did not endorse the applications and could not guarantee its safety, security or reliability.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has reminded members of the public not to access their EPF's i-Accounts using mobile applications developed by third parties.
EPF public relations general manager Nik Affendi Jaafar said the EPF did not endorse the applications and that it could not guarantee its safety, security or reliability.
"The safest method of accessing the i-Account is to access it directly via the myEPF website," he said in a statement.
Those who had used such applications and were subsequently unable to access their accounts through the myEPF website should report the matter to EPF Call Centre at 03-89226000, he said.
For more information on the i-Account, EPF members can post their enquiries via www.kwsp.gov.my or at http://enquiry.kwsp.gov.my.
