Full refund if KTM Komuter trains delayed by more than 30 mins

PETALING JAYA: KTM Komuter will fully refund passengers if their trains are delayed by more than 30 minutes.

Passengers have the option to get full replacement of a single journey or full ticket refund within 24 hours at any KTM Komuter station.

KTM Komuter general manager Mohd Hider Yusoff said previously KTM would refund if the train was delayed by more than two hours but had revised the policy to 30 minutes last year, although few were aware of this.

"We are committed to provide good service to our customers. If we can't get the trains to be on time, we are giving the option for a refund," Hider said Monday.

Most passengers were willing to wait if the delay was only 30 minutes, added Hider.

But it's horrible for waiting for two hours with with hot and lack of waiting seat at all komuter stations.
