Haze : Tanjung Malim air unhealthy

PETALING JAYA: Tanjung Malim's air quality took a drastic turn Monday evening (as at 5pm) with the Air Pollutant Index reading of 107 making it the only place to record unhealthy air.

The reading, according to the Department of Environment, was 58 (moderate) earlier in the day.

The DOE said 30 areas recorded moderate air (as at 5pm).

The API of some of the areas are: Port Dickson 80, Larkin Lama 86, Bukit Rambai 89, Nilai 89, Port Dickson 80.

A good API reading is from 0-50, moderate (51-100), unhealthy (101-200), very unhealthy (201-299) and hazardous (from 300 and above).
