Sarawak : Kayak for Humanity mission takes off

MUKAH: A group of 20 kayakers on a mission called Kayak for Humanity Sarawak 2011 started their journey from here on Saturday to row some 700 nautical miles along Sarawak’s coastline.

Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek flagged off the 14-day expedition at the fishermen’s jetty here in a simple ceremony.

Joining the noble cause were 10 from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak.
