KUALA LUMPUR: National Interfaith committee chief Datuk Ilani Isahak passed away at 6.05am Thursday.
She died at the Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) after suffering from cancer.
Ilani would have been 58 next month. She would be buried at Kiara Muslim Cemetary after prayers Thursday afternoon.
She was appointed by the Cabinet as co-ordinator for the Special Committee to Promote Harmony and Understanding Among Religious Adherents.
