3rd and last venue to visit, Tokyo Rehabilitation Association. The Association had plenty of centers, but we manage to visit the center in Hinode, call as Hinode Rihabilitation (work study place). The work place is a 4 stories building size about 60m x 25m equip with to elavators (lift) one each for passengers and goods. The office was in 3rd floor (just to remind, Japan used (G) ground floor as 1st floor). The President of the Association was a disabled person too (wheelchair user).
The Association was set-up in March 1964, and by 1977 the Association start the 1st center for vocational works with boarding sheltered facilities until 1997.
Hinode Rehabilitation was opened in 1997 specially for work-study center. All disabled person lived in the community either in own house or rented house in the community.
Currently the Association have to businesses, laundry and ornamental fish aquarium with more than 200 disabled workers and support by around 100 normal workers and merely 40 trainers in multi-skill task.
